Technical Recruiter
About the role
Technical Recruiter role partnering with Engineering, Product, and Design to attract, source, and hire technical talent for Ambient.ai, with emphasis on AI-powered sourcing, full-cycle recruiting, and stakeholder collaboration in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner strategically with Engineering teams to define talent needs, hiring plans, and sourcing strategies
- Own full-cycle recruiting from initial sourcing and screening through candidate closing
- Integrate AI-powered sourcing platforms (e.g., Juicebox) and workflows to accelerate candidate research, outreach, and insights
- Build domain knowledge across software engineering disciplines to effectively assess technical talent
- Deliver exceptional candidate experiences while navigating equity conversations and startup growth dynamics
- Track recruiting metrics, funnel performance, and market intelligence to guide hiring decisions
Qualifications
- Technical recruiting track record: 3+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a proven track record of sourcing, engaging, and hiring top-tier engineering talent
- AI fluency: Hands-on experience using AI-powered sourcing platforms (Juicebox, SeekOut, or equivalent) and AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to draft outreach, summarize candidate profiles, conduct market research, and streamline recruiting workflows
- Full-cycle ownership: Successful track record sourcing and closing technical roles from entry-level to director across a range of engineering disciplines
- Candidate experience: Ability to build genuine, positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and business partners across cultures and time zones
- Recruiting stack expertise: Experience with Ashby, Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, Metaview and curated platforms such as AngelList
- JD & interview design: Ability to craft compelling job descriptions and structured interview guides in partnership with hiring managers
- Equity fluency: Strong understanding of equity for venture-backed companies, with the ability to articulate its value clearly to candidates
- Startup DNA: Previous experience at a startup or high-growth environment; thrive with ambiguity and take charge without a playbook
- Data-driven mindset: Highly organized, metrics-focused, and comfortable building and presenting recruiting dashboards and pipeline reports
- Communication excellence: Excellent written and verbal communication, able to engage with diverse candidates across countries and backgrounds
- Influence & partnership: Proven ability to advise and push back on hiring managers, shape stakeholder decisions, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams
