About the role

Mercor is hiring a People Programs Specialist to run core employee programs day to day, including universal onboarding, manager development and employee experience, partnering with Talent, Strategic Operations, IT, Workplace, Finance and managers. This hands-on role focuses on coordinating onboarding, upskilling, program data analysis and improving the employee experience at a fast-growing AI company.

Responsibilities

  • Universal onboarding: run company-wide onboarding cohorts end to end, host onboarding sessions, coordinate setup for day one, partner on handoffs to function-specific onboarding, track completion and report trends to Head of People
  • Manager development: operate manager development program including scheduling, communication, facilitator coordination and logistics; collect data and prepare program reviews for leadership
  • Employee experience: manage perks, recognition and community programs, vendor management and budget tracking; maintain clear policies and communicate them; propose new programs with cost and impact analysis
  • People resources: maintain the People resource hub, write runbooks/guides, use ticketing/knowledge base tools and AI to reduce repeat questions and manual work

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of hands-on program management in People programs, onboarding, learning and development, employee experience or People operations, ideally at a high-growth technology company
  • Experience running a company-wide onboarding program or comparable recurring program across many teams with measurable improvements
  • Experience coordinating vendors, budgets and external facilitators
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail across multiple programs
  • Ability to own high-volume, time-sensitive processes and resolve problems independently
  • Comfort with data: survey results, completion analytics and spreadsheets to derive findings
  • Confident facilitator with strong written communication
  • People-first presence and ability to guide employees to the right resources
  • Startup intensity and comfort with AI tools; discretion with confidential information
