About the role
Forward deployed mechanical engineer role at Adam, an AI-powered CAD startup. You work directly at customer sites (factory/engineering firms) to install and deploy Adam, gather feedback, and shape the product roadmap through on-site delivery and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Install Adam in customers' CAD environments; work on the shop floor with engineers.
- Own deployment end-to-end: IT conversations, installation, first-week tasks, and proving production-ready results.
- On-site presence and direct interaction with customers and founders to close gaps and convert blocks into roadmap items.
- File bugs, document gaps, and communicate customer needs to founders; influence product direction with rapid feedback.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience
Skills
Required:Mechanical engineering familiarity with CAD deploymentsOn-site industrial/ manufacturing environment experience
