Industrial Paint Technician role at SpaceX in Cape Canaveral, FL focusing on painting, corrosion control, and surface preparation for Starship launch hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Sand blast to acceptable industry standards
  • Safely operate spray coating equipment to industrial and commercial standards
  • Safely operate air tools, pressure feed tanks, and airless pumps
  • Brush and roll industrial and commercial coatings
  • Perform corrosion control on carbon steel/ stainless steel using pneumatic air tools, needle guns, and scalers
  • Safely operate aerial platforms, forklifts, and heavy equipment
  • Operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment, including brush, roll, sprayers and electrostatic sprayers, pumps, etc.
  • Work with contractors daily to ensure SpaceX standards are being met

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 1+ years of industrial painting experience
