About the role

Senior Marketing Operations Manager responsible for building and running LanceDB's marketing tech stack, data flows, and reporting to drive measurable pipeline, including open-source funnel monetization, lead routing, attribution, event operations, and ABM infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Be the directly responsible individual (DRI) for our marketing systems, including HubSpot marketing automation, signal and enrichment tools (e.g. Common Room, Clay), advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Reddit), web analytics, and event and webinar tooling. Audit existing systems, decide what’s needed, and implement or prune as necessary.
  • Build and run lead management: capture, enrichment, account assignment, routing, lifecycle stages, and scoring.
  • Own event lead flow end to end: registration, badge scans, enrichment, account assignment, follow-up with clear SLA.
  • Build and run the open-source qualified lead program with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, turning open-source activity into scoring and timely outreach.
  • Contribute to attribution and marketing reporting; build dashboards showing sourced and influenced pipeline by channel, program, and account, including founder-led and frontier lab deals.
  • Keep data clean: marketing data hygiene, field governance (including Deal Source), deduplication, and enrichment in partnership with RevOps.
  • Run campaign operations: forms, landing pages, email programs, list uploads, and registration flows (including Reverie summit).
  • Support the operating rhythm for Marketing: weekly funnel reporting (MQLs, meetings, pipeline, ARR), budget tracking, and quarterly planning data.
  • Partner with Revenue Marketing on ABM infrastructure: target account lists, segmentation, intent signals, program measurement.
  • Proactively find and ship improvements; apply AI and automation to improve enrichment, research workflows, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years in marketing operations, revenue operations, or growth operations at B2B technology companies, ideally related to developers or AI.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with a CRM (SFDC or HubSpot) focused on marketing automation, workflows, lifecycle, reporting, and data modeling; built systems hands-on.
  • Experience with the modern GTM data stack (enrichment/workflow tools like Clay, signal platforms like Common Room, sales engagement like Apollo, ad platforms, web analytics).
  • Hands-on experience designing lead routing and account assignment, including event lead flow.
  • Track record of building attribution and pipeline reporting trusted by leadership.
  • Experience with PLG, open-source, or product-usage signals feeding a sales-led motion is a strong plus.
  • Ability to own work end-to-end without a supporting team; strong pattern-matching and fast, confident decision-making.
  • Foundation-builder mindset: ability to create processes, systems, and measurement where little exists today; shipping is preferred over perfection.
  • Ability to use AI thoughtfully as an operator to improve workflows and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills to partner with founders, Sales, RevOps, and Engineering in a small, high-ownership team.
  • Bonus: experience at AI, database, data infrastructure, or developer tools company; scripting/API experience (Python, webhooks, reverse ETL).
