About the role

Senior leader responsible for defining and driving Harvey’s global social impact and access-to-justice agenda within the Responsible Business function, embedding impact into product, partnerships, legal, and people processes.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead Harvey’s global social impact strategy with a focus on access to justice, including priorities, principles, and multi-year goals.
  • Design, pilot, and scale high‑impact programmes and partnerships with civil society, justice sector organisations, professional bodies, and other relevant institutions.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of external relationships (e.g., NGOs, community organisations, bar associations, multilateral bodies) to advance impact objectives and inform product and policy choices.
  • Develop a coherent external narrative for Harvey’s social impact work in partnership with Communications, Marketing, and Leadership.
  • Establish outcomes‑oriented approaches to impact measurement and learning, translating insights into product, policy, and go‑to‑market recommendations.
  • Serve as an internal expert on social impact and access to justice, guiding product, commercial, and policy teams to align with impact commitments.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience (typically 7+ years) designing and leading social impact, public interest, or community‑focused programmes in complex organisations.
  • Track record of building strategic partnerships across civil society, community-based organisations, justice sector actors, educational institutions, or advocacy groups with tangible outcomes.
  • Ability to translate high‑level missions into clear strategies, programmes, and decision frameworks understandable to non‑specialists.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments; ability to build from scratch and iterate based on feedback.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills to represent the organisation credibly and facilitate alignment among diverse partners.
  • Informed interest in AI’s opportunities and risks in society, and willingness to engage with implications of deploying legal AI in justice ecosystems.
