About the role

Entry-level Technical Support Specialist for OpenGov, providing omni-channel customer support, training, and technical guidance on OpenGov products. Training provided with clear pathways for advancement; role includes shift-based on-site training in Pune, with eventual 3rd shift remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer technical support via omnichannel interactions to meet performance goals
  • Use Salesforce Service Cloud for case management with log notes and updates
  • Independently assess and prioritize incoming cases; determine resolutions or escalations
  • Triages incidents for severity and content to ensure consistency and quality
  • Research tools to identify known issues or defects
  • Troubleshoot a wide range of technologies and document steps to reproduce incidents
  • Provide technical guidance and software training to customers and internal teams
  • Contribute to knowledge base for self-service and training
  • Participate in scheduled training sessions to learn internal technologies
  • Utilize AI tools to service more customers faster with higher quality

Qualifications

  • Technical degree (Computer Science preferred)
  • Experience or interest in Data Management, ETL, API data failures, CSS coding, and/or AP Invoicing, Utility Billing, Budgeting or Procurement software
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to collaborate in a team and learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work shifts for business hours support
  • Willingness to participate in rotating on-call after-hours support
  • Interest or experience in using AI
