About the role

6-month software engineering internship starting January 2027. Interns work on production-level code within MongoDB’s software engineering teams, contributing to products and services for internal teams, external customers, and developers.

Responsibilities

  • Push production-level code to make lasting contributions across MongoDB’s products and services
  • Collaborate with full-time engineers and cross-functional teammates
  • Learn development standard methodologies and gain practical software engineering experience

Qualifications

  • In the process of receiving a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Foundation in computer science theory with proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Fluent in Java, Python, Go, C++, Javascript, Node.js or a comparable object-oriented programming language.
  • Minimum of one semester remaining after internship; graduation date Spring 2028 or Summer 2028.
  • Authorized to work in Ireland; company sponsorship may be available for eligible roles.
