About the role

Etched is building a new PCB assembly (PCBA) manufacturing facility and seeks an SMT Process Engineer to establish and launch the first SMT production line, from initial setup through volume production, including equipment programming, process development, tooling, operator training, and engineering build support.

Responsibilities

  • Launch our first SMT line: Support equipment selection, define technical specifications and acceptance criteria, and coordinate installation with vendors and facilities teams.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
