About the role

Internship in Materials Regulatory Compliance responsible for chemical compliance data handling for Reality Labs hardware, focusing on logging declarations, maintaining trackers, extracting data from lab reports, and surfacing gaps for analyst review.

Responsibilities

  • Log supplier declarations/certificates of compliance; check completeness and flag gaps for review
  • Maintain program, regulation, and waiver trackers — expiries, open actions, ownership, duplicates
  • Extract substance, method, and result data from third-party lab reports into structured records
  • Log packaging artwork proofs, record market footprints and required marks, and route to analysts
  • Run coverage and gap analyses across document repositories
  • Document repeatable processes and propose automation candidates
  • Structure, reconcile, and analyze data in spreadsheets using lookups and advanced formulas

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science/Engineering, or a related field
  • Working proficiency with spreadsheets — structuring data, lookups, and reconciliation
  • Demonstrated accuracy working through large document sets or datasets
  • Clear written communication, including accurate technical summaries with source citations
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
  • Intent to return to full-time degree program after completion of the internship
