About the role

Leader of the Integrity Investigations, Intelligence, and Events (i3E) organization at Meta, responsible for strategy, operations, and AI-native transformation of a multi-pod security investigations team spanning multiple harm domains to reduce adversarial activity and harms across Meta’s products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide organizational leadership to a multi-pod investigations organization spanning several harm domains; set and communicate a vision that connects investigative work to measurable reduction in harm.
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for investigations across the organization, and ensure prioritization, resourcing, and delivery against it in a continuously changing threat and business environment.
  • Develop and scale the management and technical-leadership bench by hiring, coaching and growing managers and leads, building succession depth so that critical scope is never dependent on a single person.
  • Drive the organization’s AI-native transformation: redesign investigative workflows around AI capability, set the bar for responsible use, and hold the organization accountable for measurable gains in investigative throughput and quality.
  • Define and own the metrics and operating cadence for the organization; ensure leaders are measuring the right things and that team health is tracked alongside output.
  • Partner with and influence cross-functional leaders across product, engineering, data science, policy, legal, communications, and public affairs to turn investigative findings into enforcement, product change, and external communication.
  • Represent i3E and its work to senior leadership and external stakeholders; advocate for the organization’s priorities on partner roadmaps.
  • Lead the organization’s response posture for high-severity, time-compressed escalations.
  • Actively engage as a member of the leadership team on cross-cutting strategic, operational, and people initiatives.
  • Handle exposure to graphic and/or objectionable content including graphic images, videos and writings, offensive language, and other potentially disturbing material.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in security, intelligence, investigations, or a closely related technical domain, including hands-on technical depth
  • 8+ years of people management experience, including managing and developing managers, and leading distributed teams across sites and time zones
  • Demonstrated track record of attracting talent and of scaling and developing high-performing teams and leaders
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of transforming both how an organization works and what it delivers
  • Experience making data-driven decisions, and bringing clarity to problems that are ambiguous and where established principles do not fully apply
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional leaders in engineering, product, policy, legal, and public affairs
  • Experience developing multi-source, evidence-based findings and communicating them to senior and executive audiences
