About the role

Intern role focusing on designing, automating, and securing Maki's internal systems, including laptop provisioning, access management, and safeguarding people, devices, and data.

Responsibilities

  • Building automation that removes manual work from IT and security operations (provisioning, access reviews, reporting) so they scale with the company
  • Deploying and hardening macOS fleet through MDM: enrollment, role-based app sets, security baselines, patch compliance, and encryption
  • Owning identity and access management across tools: onboarding and offboarding workflows, least-privilege access, SSO and MFA hygiene
  • Defining and maintaining workplace and security processes, and helping Maki meet certification, customer, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitoring environment, running vulnerability assessments on internal tools and infrastructure, and remediation
  • Handling support requests across hardware, software, and network issues, resolving and eliminating recurring issues

Qualifications

  • Finishing studies (Bac+4/Bac+5) in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field for end-of-studies internship
  • Solid understanding of operating systems and networking, with exposure to security fundamentals (access control, device hardening, vulnerability management)
  • Comfort with scripting to automate tasks (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Ability to work in English (French a plus)
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, MDM solutions, or identity management tools is a plus
