About the role

Deputy Technical Program Manager responsible for execution integrity across Anduril's MDI portfolio, coordinating across multiple domains, geographies, and accreditation regimes to prevent program stalls and ensure cross-domain visibility, scheduling, funding, reporting, and unblocking.

Responsibilities

  • Own the portfolio operating system
  • Own the MDI status dashboard and risk register: a live blocker-level register spanning COMSEC and encryption, policy and authorization, technical infrastructure, customer and stakeholder commitments, and program execution.
  • Enforce status hygiene across the portfolio.
  • Run the operating cadence: core team stand-ups, weekly cross-functional sync, and program reviews.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reporting in the established format: Slack-native updates with named owners and explicit red, yellow, green calls.
  • Own the program management toolkit and planning artifacts
  • Own MDI's work breakdown structure (machine-generated from Jira) and ensure hygiene for trustworthy outputs
  • Own submissions into the division program manager toolkit: repository entries, point-of-contact tracking, and submission deadlines
  • Drive charge code and financial hygiene with Finance
  • Support annual planning and internal research funding submissions
  • Track cloud and infrastructure spend against budget
  • Build cross-program technical fluency across classified network architecture, sovereign/classified cloud, edge-to-cloud, expeditionary networking, and C2 integration
  • Hold the dependency map across pillars and own the artifact map (architecture diagrams, accreditation packages, milestone trackers, executive reviews, program plans)
  • Carry accreditation and compliance program management across US, Australian, and UK frameworks
  • Track accreditation campaigns and manage evidence and milestones for assessments
  • Coordinate with government and coalition stakeholders, represent MDI in internal/external forums when Lead is unavailable
  • Own hiring pipeline coordination, onboarding structure, and access/clearance tracking
  • Build and maintain playbooks, trackers, and durable documentation
  • Support org design, headcount planning, and budget tracking across pillars

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in technical program management, systems engineering, engineering operations, or comparable role in defense or similarly regulated environment
  • Demonstrated ability to hold broad technical context across multiple domains (networking, cloud, systems integration) without being deepest expert
  • Track record owning schedule, risk, and dependency management for complex programs with external dependencies
  • Experience managing execution across distributed teams in multiple countries/time zones
  • Strong written communication to convert messy program reality into clear executive-ready status
  • Direct experience coordinating with government, military, or regulatory stakeholders
  • Comfort operating in classified environments; Active US clearance required, TS/SCI preferred
  • Self-starter who builds structure where none exists
  • Willingness to travel ~20% for milestones/exercises/customer engagements
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain active U.S. Secret clearance
