About the role

Director, Production Analytics globally owns Production Analytics across Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and Warehousing / Material Management. The role focuses on delivering end-to-end analytics that enable leaders to anticipate and act on production rate constraints, standardize capabilities into supported products, and scale analytical insights as the company grows.

Responsibilities

  • Apply analytics to production’s biggest problems. Hold an evidence-backed view of what is worth the company's attention and in what order, then implement end-to-end analytics on high-priority programs.
  • Make the various business units decide earlier by shifting production reporting from retrospective to leading indicators and ensuring adoption.
  • Turn proven capabilities into enterprise-standard products, standardize definitions, and consolidate duplicative reporting.
  • Own the analytical side of a ramp from low rate to high rate and maintain a current view of binding constraints as the company scales.
  • Build and lead the consolidated analytics organization and its managers, integrating with the production process/team, while ensuring master data quality ownership remains with business units.
  • Produce numbers the business can trust by fixing data defects rather than presenting caveats on slides.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in analytics, data, or quantitative operations, including 5+ years leading analytics or data teams and experience managing managers or readiness to do so
  • Rigorous, teachable approach to ambiguous problems with ability to describe decision processes, structuring analyses, and installing methods in a team
  • Genuinely hands-on with strong SQL and a modern data stack, capable of working directly with datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve high-value problems in a messy operational environment
  • Track record of operational outcomes with measurable results, specific programs, and skeptics named
  • Experience shipping analytics as supported products with real users and retiring legacy solutions
  • Ability to influence leadership peer-to-peer without formal authority and work credibly with skeptical program teams
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (U.S. person status per ITAR/EAR)
