About the role

Electrical Engineer role in Anduril’s Quincy, MA team to support the Copperhead family of vehicles, integrating electrical subsystems, assisting testing, and ensuring system performance in rugged maritime environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical schematics, power system single line diagrams, system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment within a subsystem and between subsystems
  • Integrate existing electrical sub-systems to provide novel capability while maintaining commonality with other Anduril Maritime systems
  • Design electrical interfaces and enclosures for integration of sensors and peripheral equipment for autonomous systems
  • Troubleshoot issues spanning electrical and software boundaries using test equipment and software debugging tools
  • Develop subsystems (sensors, interfaces, power management, and networking) for bespoke capabilities
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver functional products
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment balancing schedule, cost, and performance
  • Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews, perform requirements analysis, and plan system verification to ensure compliance with goals and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits
  • Experience developing schematics, interconnect diagrams, and wiring harnesses
  • Competence with test equipment such as multi-meter, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automation of tests
  • Experience with electro-mechanical and electrical design concepts
  • Experience in fieldable system design
  • High-ownership and bias toward action
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Ability to travel 5%
