About the role

Senior role within Anduril’s Design & Construction team focused on site selection, due diligence, and feasibility analysis to bridge real estate acquisition and project execution for strategic facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Anduril's Strategic Real Estate (SRE) team as the primary D&C contact for pursuits.
  • Participate in regular weekly portfolio pipeline meetings to maintain visibility across active and upcoming pursuits.
  • Collaborate with D&C leaders, space planning, security, and other internal stakeholders for early project visibility and alignment.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with internal project managers to discuss updates, resources, and challenges.
  • Provide formal site selection recommendations based on site walks, feasibility analysis, and programmatic requirements.
  • Serve as the primary D&C contact for all new project pursuits from site identification through project approval.
  • Coordinate handoffs between due diligence and project execution with project management.
  • Define true project needs with business lines and create project programs capturing goals and scope.
  • Advise during due diligence, programming, design, pre-construction, and estimating support.
  • Communicate project progress and solutions to senior management.
  • Work cross-functionally with Security, Network Engineering, Facilities Management, Marketing, Manufacturing, EHS, Legal, and others to surface requirements for site selection.
  • Develop and manage concept-phase budgets and schedules with the D&C pre-construction team.
  • Provide insights on how to meet challenging business plans.
  • Collaborate with Finance/FP&A to produce concept-phase cash flow forecasts.
  • Generate order-of-magnitude cost estimates for prospective sites (construction, TI, infrastructure).
  • Lead due diligence site walks, document conditions, code compliance, environmental constraints, and infrastructure capacity.
  • Manage selection/onboarding of A/E and environmental consultants and other third-party advisors.
  • Evaluate zoning, entitlements, permitting timelines, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Assess site utility infrastructure and coordinate with utilities for capacity and lead times.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in site selection, land development, real estate due diligence, construction management, or related field.
  • Experience conducting site feasibility analysis including zoning/entitlements, environmental assessments, and infrastructure evaluation.
  • Strong background in pre-construction activities: programming, conceptual estimating, and schedule development.
  • Corporate or owner's-representative experience managing internal stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Working knowledge of construction means/methods, building codes, and ADA/accessibility in site evaluation.
  • Ability to read/interpret architectural, civil, and structural drawings at conceptual/schematic level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent pursuits across geographies.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for site evaluations, meetings, and coordination.
