About the role

Solution Engineer at Sonio responsible for turning signed contracts into live deployments by connecting hospitals and clinics to the platform, enabling AI-powered prenatal care.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integration of new clients, from technical discovery (including pre-sales calls with the sales team) to go-live.
  • Connect clients securely: architect VPN tunnels between client networks and our cloud, and design custom SSO solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Migrate high-volume medical imaging data from legacy on-premises servers to the Sonio cloud, and manage critical cutovers for live clients, such as EHR transitions.
  • Keep the platform running smoothly: L3 support and monitoring with Datadog, data repairs via SQL and APIs, and internal automation tools (EHR workflows, configuration scripts) that help us scale.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant position with deep familiarity with medical data standards (HL7, DICOM), and SQL (mandatory); Python is nice to have.
  • Network and cloud knowledge: familiarity with networking, in particular VPN, and with cloud infrastructure (AWS is a plus). Experience with SaaS software and EHR implementations is also a plus.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, with a proven ability to demystify complex technical issues for non-technical clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a start-up or scale-up is a huge plus.
