About the role
Director-level role responsible for building and leading Hadrian's supplier quality and development function, establishing the quality management system and compliance framework for external manufacturing, and ensuring supplier quality and delivery performance as the company scales its supply base.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the supplier quality and development team
- Build the quality management system and compliance framework (AS9100/maritime) for external supply
- Own supplier quality performance end to end, including FAI, CAPA, and PFMEA discipline
- Lead supplier development, working hands-on with foundries and machine shops
- Manage supplier on-time delivery and risk across a growing mechanical commodities supply base
Qualifications
- Supplier quality and/or development experience in aerospace, naval, marine, or directly transferable defense hard-goods manufacturing
- Strong FAI, CAPA, and PFMEA discipline
- Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to build and grow a team
- Willingness to travel regularly to foundries and machine shops
- Experience standing up supplier quality processes and systems from scratch at a startup or high-growth company, ideally in mechanical commodities
