About the role

Pivotal role focused on uncovering and implementing systems and automation solutions across the Finance organization, spanning data, systems, and AI-enabled workflows to report revenue, billing, cash flow, and financials.

Responsibilities

  • Own finance systems and data: diagnose process breaks, design reconciliations and automated matching, implement variance logs and exception reporting; ensure data integrity across custodian exports, CRM, billing, CPQ, commissions, payments, and ERP; establish reconciliation health metrics and report them; ensure pricing/quoting/commission data tie to billing and revenue recognition; replace high-cost manual workflows with automation using AI, scripting, SQL, or configuration; partner with Data team to define requirements and drive deployment; evaluate new tools and build business cases for investment.
  • Controls and documentation: design controls, access permissions, and audit trails for financial data; document system architecture, data flows, and processes; support audit requests related to systems, reconciliations, and automated controls.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in Finance, Finance Operations, RevOps, BizOps, or a highly analytical function within a fintech; startup experience and/or AI implementation highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of AI and data infrastructure frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Fluent in scripting (Python), SQL and advanced Excel/Sheets.
  • Experience stitching data across CRM, ERP, payment platforms, and internal databases.
  • Built or significantly improved financial reporting, reconciliation, or revenue data systems.
  • Deep analytical skills with large, complex datasets; exceptional attention to detail; highly organized; able to manage multiple complex workstreams; self-directed and proactive in identifying structural problems.
