About the role

Greptile is an AI code reviewer providing full context of the codebase to catch bugs and anti-patterns in pull requests. The role focuses on solving hard engineering challenges, designing and deploying features, and growing a core system as the company scales.

Responsibilities

  • Solve some of our hardest and most interesting problems, including LLM memory, multi-language codebase indexing, semantic search for large codebases, and much more.
  • Design, implement, test, and deploy full features
  • Get user feedback to iterate the features
  • Drive ambiguous projects from initial design through launch and operation
  • Own a core system or service and ensure it remains reliable as we scale
  • Raise the bar for security, reliability, and maintainability across the codebase
  • Mentor other engineers and establish strong technical defaults

Qualifications

  • B.S. Computer Science or equivalent degree, undergraduate or higher
  • 4+ years of software or DevOps engineering experience
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
