About the role

Robot Technician role focused on keeping Yondu's fleet of robots running by repairing field and lab robots.

Responsibilities

  • Fix robots that break in the field and in the lab.
  • Work across mechanical, electrical, and software systems to troubleshoot and repair.
  • Document issues and create assembly/manufacturing processes as well as troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with mechanical or electrical assembly or maintenance work in relevant fields (aerospace, drones, automotive, robotics)
  • Experience working with robots or mechatronic systems
  • Familiar with Linux and basic terminal usage
  • Able to troubleshoot and document issues across mechanical, electrical, and software systems
  • Able to create documentation of both assembly/manufacturing processes but also for troubleshooting and bug fixing
  • Able to work in both an R&D environment and a deployment environment
  • Portfolio submission encouraged (projects count toward relevant experience)
