About the role

Audit Associate position in Aprio's growing audit practice, focused on helping clients manage financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and comply with evolving accounting regulations. Hybrid, full-time role based in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Perform audits skillfully and accurately in accordance with applicable professional standards
  • Prepare audit work papers and adjusting trial balances
  • Compile financial statements into written reports for presentation
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Travel approximately 15–20% of the time to support client engagements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Licensed CPA or completion of 150 credit hours required to sit for the CPA exam
  • 0–1 year of experience in public accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and professionally with clients and colleagues
