About the role

Leads the launch manager team responsible for on-site support across the franchise network, ensuring readiness, execution, and handoffs for new launches, program retraining, ownership transfers, and extended on-site needs.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage the launch manager team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance accountability, and career development.
  • Build a versatile team capable of launches, retraining, ownership transfers, and other on-site assignments.
  • Set and uphold standards for on-site readiness, including preparation, owner communication, daily reporting, and professionalism.
  • Observe field performance and provide feedback to raise quality and consistency of on-site support.
  • Ensure launch managers are trained on current operating standards, systems, playbooks, and brand expectations.
  • Own a single deployment calendar covering all launches, retraining, ownership transfers, and other on-site requests.
  • Evaluate deployment requests from DFOs, NSO/Development, and Franchise Operations leadership.
  • Define scope, objectives, timing, duration, and success metrics with requesting leaders before assigning resources.
  • Match launch managers to assignments based on skill, studio needs, geography, and workload.
  • Forecast capacity, manage travel and deployment budgets, and escalate conflicts as needed.
  • Lead New Studio Launch Support including pre-launch readiness, staffing, systems, and handoffs.
  • Support Performance Acceleration Program on-site retraining and coaching as scoped by DFO and program leadership.
  • Coordinate Studio Ownership Transfer support and handoffs to FBM.
  • Provide on-site support for other extended needs and define scope and exit criteria.
  • Conduct field retrospectives and share insights to improve playbooks, checklists, and training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 5+ years in multi-unit operations, including 3+ years in franchise operations.
  • Experience in a service-based, membership model business (fitness, wellness, beauty, or similar).
  • 5+ years managing managers, ideally regional or multi-market leaders.
  • Experience with Mindbody and Axle.
