About the role
In-house pilot position at SpaceX, responsible for flying various aircraft domestically and internationally, with on-call requirements and potential international travel.
Responsibilities
- Ensure aircraft ground servicing items such as fuel, oil, oxygen, etc. are monitored and accomplished according to standard operating procedures
- Complete flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment
- Complete passenger briefings according to company policy and regulation
- Utilize Threats, Plans, and Considerations briefing methodology for briefings and to mitigate operational risks
- Maintain a current first class medical certificate
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3,000+ hours total flight time
- First class medical certificate
