About the role

Research internship focusing on AI for science within Ai2, specifically the Asta Project, with emphasis on agentic and data-driven scientific discovery, human-AI collaboration, literature understanding, and continual learning. 12-week internship in Seattle for PhD students with strong research background.

Responsibilities

  • - Conduct high-impact research and author scientific papers for publication in high-profile computing conferences and journals.
  • - Collaborate with and learn from a dedicated Ai2 mentor and other team members across Ai2, including scientists and engineers.

Qualifications

  • - PhD student with research experience in Computer Science or a related field, with focus on one or more active research areas.
  • - Publication record in AI-related venues.
  • - Strong software engineering skills with experience in system building (React and Typescript) OR deep learning frameworks (PyTorch) OR agentic frameworks (Autogen).
