About the role

Litigation Counsel focused on labor and employment matters (US and international), managing all facets of litigation and internal investigations, with opportunities to expand into additional dispute areas.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all facets of litigation, with a focus on labor and employment disputes but with opportunities to expand portfolio to consumer, contractual, commercial, or other disputes
  • Conduct internal investigations; support discovery efforts; draft and review discovery requests/responses, pleadings, and briefs; direct litigation strategy; and negotiate settlements
  • Identify legal risks and mitigate them by designing and implementing controls

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school
  • 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
  • Experience litigating labor and employment disputes in California
