About the role

Litigation Counsel focusing on labor and employment matters, with opportunities to handle additional dispute types. Based in Hawthorne, CA, onsite requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all facets of litigation, with a focus on labor and employment disputes but with opportunities to expand to consumer, contractual, or other kinds of legal disputes
  • Conduct internal investigations; support discovery efforts; draft and review discovery requests/responses, pleadings, and briefs; direct litigation strategy; and negotiate settlements
  • Identify legal risks and mitigate them by designing and implementing controls

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school
  • 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
  • Experience litigating labor and employment disputes in California
