About the role

Elite security professional conducting advanced physical security assessments, threat simulations, and rapid response to test and strengthen SpaceX facilities and assets. Requires blend of physical security, tactical training, and analytical skills with ability to make split-second decisions in high-stress environments.

Responsibilities

  • Red Team Operations: conduct physical security assessments and penetration testing of SpaceX facilities, develop and execute complex threat scenarios to test security measures, collaborate to identify vulnerabilities and mitigations.
  • Special Operations: provide rapid response capabilities to security incidents, work with security personnel to contain and resolve incidents, develop and maintain security protocols, procedures, and training programs.
  • Threat Assessment and Analysis: research and analyze potential threats to facilities/assets, develop threat profiles (TTPs), collaborate with intelligence teams on emerging threats.
  • Decision-Making in High-Stress Environments: make split-second decisions prioritizing safety, apply analytical thinking, maintain calm and effective communication.
  • Training and Exercises: develop and conduct training exercises (scenario-based, tabletop, live-fire), design and execute complex security Exercises (including SWAT deployments), evaluate outcomes and recommend improvements.
  • Additional Duties: maintain high physical fitness and tactical proficiency (firearms, hand-to-hand, tactical driving), stay updated on best practices and security tech, collaborate cross-functionally to ensure holistic security.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 5+ years in the military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security.
  • 1+ years in executive protection, mobile asset protection, or emergency response team experience.
