About the role

BIM Specialist to lead integration and coordination of Building Information Modeling across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring model management, collaboration, and BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCad for architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines
  • Perform clash detection, model coordination, and constructability reviews
  • Lead BIM coordination for multi-disciplinary projects with in-house and external design consultants
  • Collaborate to establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows
  • Act as primary BIM resource for team members and external consultants, addressing technical issues and optimizing BIM processes
  • Maintain a living model with design/construction teams to culminate in an as-built facility
  • Lead transition of BIM workflows from third-party providers to in-house operations (data migration, documentation, training)
  • Generate construction documentation, quantity takeoffs, and visualizations for bidding, procurement, and on-site execution
  • Troubleshoot BIM issues and recommend software/tools/process improvements
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to inform design decisions and mitigate risks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a BIM specialist or Modeler in a construction or engineering environment
