About the role

Trust & Safety Product Manager responsible for end-to-end product and technical delivery of compliance and safety initiatives across EverAI platforms, partnering with Compliance, Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Customer Support to build safeguards, manage third-party integrations, and continuously improve safety systems.

Responsibilities

  • Safety & legal product strategy and delivery. Translate safety policies, legal requirements (e.g., online safety and AI-specific laws such as the EU AI Act), incident findings, and user feedback into product requirements, acceptance criteria, and engineering work. Drive initiatives from problem definition through implementation, testing, launch, and ongoing improvement.
  • Internally developed moderation technologies. Own the product side of improvements to our in-house moderation systems, including EverGuard. Partner with Engineering and AI/ML teams on detection capabilities, moderation rules and thresholds, and interventions across user inputs and AI-generated outputs.
  • Third-party safety partnerships and integrations. Lead the technical and product lifecycle of third-party safety partnerships, from identifying needs to implementation, testing, rollout, and ongoing performance management.
  • Safety dashboards, monitoring, and quality assurance. Establish dashboards and recurring QA to proactively identify issues, prevent harmful content, and ensure T&S measures work as intended.
  • Red teaming and adversarial testing. Own testing for how moderation systems respond to misuse and edge cases; track findings through remediation, retesting, and closure.
  • Trust and safety reviews for new features. Run T&S reviews for new features and material changes, engaging early in product design to identify misuse and safeguards.
  • Incident follow-through and continuous improvement. Coordinate product and engineering response to significant safety issues with incident management, policy, and user support.

Qualifications

  • Data-driven product decisions aligned with legal/ethical standards; able to define metrics, run experiments, and translate insights into policies and dashboards.
  • Content moderation and AI guardrails: understand interaction of safety requirements with platform realities; explore scalable moderation strategies including automation, human review, and user reporting.
  • Legal/safety work experience: ability to translate and implement trust and safety/compliance requirements for consumer-facing product.
  • Collaborative mindset and communication: cross-functional collaboration with engineering, legal, operations, and customer support; fluent in English.
  • AI fluency: comfortable leveraging AI tools and experimenting with new tools independently.
  • Third-party partnerships: comfortable initiating and managing discussions with external tools and integrations.
  • Ownership mindset: capable of operating with ambiguity, driving clarity, balancing execution and planning, and taking responsibility for outcomes.
  • Comfort with uncensored content: able to work in a product category involving uncensored models and content.
