About the role

Trust & Safety Product Manager responsible for the product and technical delivery of compliance and safety initiatives across EverAI platforms, owning safety features, moderation capabilities, third-party integrations, and dashboards, reporting to CTO and Legal & Safety Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Safety & legal product strategy and delivery. Translate safety policies, legal requirements (e.g., online safety and AI-specific laws such as the EU AI Act), incident findings, and user feedback into product requirements, acceptance criteria, and engineering work.
  • Internally developed moderation technologies. Own the product side of improvements to in-house moderation systems, including EverGuard, partnering with Engineering and AI/ML teams on detection capabilities, moderation rules and thresholds, and interventions across user inputs and AI-generated outputs.
  • Third-party safety partnerships and integrations. Lead the lifecycle of third-party safety partnerships, from needs identification and provider evaluation to implementation, testing, rollout, and ongoing performance management.
  • Safety dashboards, monitoring, and quality assurance. Establish dashboards and recurring QA to proactively identify issues, prevent harmful content, and ensure T&S measures work as intended.
  • Red teaming and adversarial testing. Own testing of moderation systems and safeguards for deliberate misuse and edge cases, tracking findings through remediation, retesting, and closure.
  • Trust and safety reviews for new features. Run dedicated T&S reviews for new features and material changes to existing features, models, and integrations.
  • Incident follow-through and continuous improvement. Coordinate product and engineering response to significant safety issues with incident management, policy, and user support.

Qualifications

  • Data-driven product decisions aligned with legal/ethical standards (metrics, A/B tests, experiments, data deep-dives).
  • Content moderation and AI guardrails understanding, including automation, human review, and user reporting.
  • Legal/safety work experience with trust & safety and compliance requirements for consumer-facing products.
  • Collaborative mindset and English fluency; cross-functional collaboration with engineering, legal, operations, and support.
  • AI fluency and openness to using AI tools beyond required projects.
  • Point person for third-party partnerships and autonomous discussions with safety tool providers.
  • Ownership mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and delivering results without waiting for certainty.
  • Comfort building products around uncensored models and content.
