About the role

Senior Associate to lead product ownership for GTM data and tooling products, driving roadmap, delivery, and adoption for Sales and Customer Success. Hybrid work model with a focus on building scalable processes, tools, and systems, including in-house and third-party solutions, to accelerate Datadog’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap: Set the vision, strategy, and prioritized roadmap for GTM data products and sales productivity tools.
  • Run the end-to-end product lifecycle for in-house tools: Write requirements and user stories, define MVPs, establish acceptance criteria, manage the backlog, and partner with GTM Systems, Data Engineering, and Analytics to ship, iterate, and sunset internally built products.
  • Establish the product operating model: Create a consistent approach to intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, product ownership, release readiness, feedback collection, and lifecycle management across our portfolio of products.
  • Make build-versus-buy calls: Lead structured evaluations (e.g., RFPs, pilots, time-boxed POCs) of third-party tools against in-house alternatives, build business cases, and present investment recommendations to GTM leadership
  • Lead AI product strategy: Identify, evaluate, prototype, and scale AI-powered capabilities to improve prospecting, enrichment, personalization, and rep workflows
  • Measure impact: Define and track success metrics across every tool and data product and use findings to invest, consolidate, or retire
  • Partner with the field: Work with Sales and CS to uncover workflow pain points and translate opportunities into product improvements
  • Lead launch and adoption: Own release planning, change management, and onboarding with Sales Enablement
  • Ensure seamless integration: Maintain integrations between tools, Salesforce CRM, and the GTM tech stack
  • Set the standard: Build governance, acceptable use policies, and data hygiene standards across tools and data products

Qualifications

  • Product management fundamentals: Writing PRDs, user stories, scope tradeoffs, and communicating investment decisions
  • Build-versus-buy judgment: Experience evaluating in-house vs third-party solutions
  • Data fluency: Understanding GTM data and ability to define data quality standards; comfortable with SQL and data warehouses/BI tools
