About the role

MBA internship in Airbnb's Strategic Finance & Analytics (SFA) team for the 2027 Summer Intern Program (May 24, 2027 – August 13, 2027). Interns support data-driven analysis, forecasting, and strategic/tactical planning to guide investment and growth decisions, with potential for full-time offers after graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business problems and issues using data to provide insight to decision-makers
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns based on business data and market knowledge
  • Construct and present forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans to stakeholders and leaders
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements

Qualifications

  • First-year, full-time MBA students (expected graduation Spring 2028) at accredited U.S. business schools
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in areas such as financial planning & analysis, corporate development, management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or business operations
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to define and execute projects independently
  • Strong relationship-building skills with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior leaders
  • Robust quantitative skills and experience analyzing complex data to deliver actionable recommendations
  • Experience with SQL, financial modeling, data analysis and visualization (Tableau or similar tools)
  • AI fluency and sound AI judgment
  • Ability to manage time and adapt to changing priorities
  • Interest in high-growth, technology, or hospitality companies
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Preferred: Experience conducting industry research and due diligence
