About the role

Experienced full-stack software developer to join GO Systems, leading architectural decisions for the support platform and internal tooling ecosystem, driving scalable solutions and operational efficiency across Global Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable full-stack solutions using PHP/Hack and JavaScript/React that power operational workflows across the family of apps
  • Define and contribute to the long-term technical architecture and roadmap for GO Systems tooling, aligning infrastructure strategy with Global Operations business priorities
  • Identify and resolve systemic engineering bottlenecks across the GO tooling ecosystem, driving measurable improvements in platform reliability and operational efficiency
  • Partner with engineering, product management, legal, partnerships, and business development stakeholders to translate complex operational requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Champion engineering best practices for design reviews, code quality, and incident management processes across GO Systems
  • Drive adoption of AI and automation technologies within Global Operations to improve workflow efficiency and support experience quality
  • Lead cross-functional technical alignment across organizational boundaries, influencing roadmaps and priorities for partner engineering teams
  • Gather, analyze, and apply operational data to identify systemic gaps and design tooling solutions that improve the end-to-end support experience
  • Develop business cases and technical proposals that support new and improved processes for consumers, businesses, and partners leveraging Meta's products
  • Mentor other engineers across the team, elevating technical craft and promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in building and shipping full-stack projects across frontend, backend, and data layers
  • 3+ years of experience driving end-to-end execution of complex, multi-team technical projects while contributing to the technical strategy and roadmaps
  • Experience architecting and scaling internal tooling platforms or operational support systems in a large, multinational environment
  • Experience communicating technical decisions and influencing cross-functional partners across large organizations through written proposals and design documentation
  • Experience working across global, multicultural teams to design and improve business operations and tooling
