About the role

Six-month, full-time internship in Paris supporting the tax function within Vestiaire Collective’s Finance team, reporting to the Head of Tax.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Tax and the Accounting team with day-to-day tax matters in a fast-paced, challenging and international environment. Responsibilities will include tax reporting, research and analysis across corporate income tax (CIT), VAT, sales tax and transfer pricing.
  • Assist in handling customer tax-related queries in collaboration with the Customer Service team. Under the guidance of the Head of Tax, help define applicable rules, investigate issues and contribute to the development of appropriate solutions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Master 2) in Tax Law or equivalent; admitted to the bar school or holder of the CAPA; dual degree in law/business or law/finance is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar position would be a plus.
  • Good level of written and spoken English.
  • Rigorous, organized and adaptable.
  • Curious and eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Enjoys working in a team.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge of or previous experience in e-commerce would be an asset.
