Senior Staff Software Engineer position for Android Automotive OS with locations in Kraków, Poland or Munich, Germany. Focus on technical leadership, large-scale software development in the automotive domain, and cross-team coordination within Google’s Android Automotive efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
  • Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
  • Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 7 years of experience with Android application development.
  • 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
  • Experience with software development in the automotive industry.
