About the role
Leading external communications for Whop, translating brand narrative to traditional media, social channels, and partnerships; developing strategies to strengthen reputation and market positioning; driving executive thought leadership and proactive storytelling across customers, product, and brand.
Responsibilities
- Translate Whop’s brand narrative to external outlets and partners, ensuring consistency across key communications channels and audiences.
- Develop communications strategies that strengthen reputation, support business objectives, and reinforce Whop’s market positioning.
- Work to develop and amplify high-impact stories across customers, product, and brand.
- Help position Whop as a leading voice through proactive storytelling and industry engagement.
- Lead communications plans for company announcements, creative campaigns, events and key business moments.
- Manage media relations activities, including messaging development, press materials, media outreach, and external agency coordination.
- Monitor emerging industry trends and identify opportunities to proactively insert Whop into relevant conversations.
- Build and elevate executive thought leadership platforms through media, speaking opportunities, owned content, and industry engagement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in public relations in the business, finance, venture capital, or tech industry.
- Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to synthesize foundational materials into clear communication.
- Ability to handle quick context shifts and deadlines.
