About the role
Lead and mentor engineers to deliver high-value products and infrastructure that scale with the business, with a focus on security, product development, and technical direction.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to deliver significant impact to the business.
- Set direction for critical technical surface areas to support rapid growth.
- Design, develop, and own new product functionality and infrastructure leveraging modern frameworks and tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js, Golang).
- Work with talented engineers to improve security practices for customers.
- Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- Played technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects.
- Previous startup experience or a bias for action environment.
- Experience working on greenfield projects.
- Interest in or prior experience in security.
