Chief Technology Officer - CTO
About the role
CTO role at Homebase, a YC-backed proptech startup in Ho Chi Minh City leading technology strategy, architecture, and delivery for web and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute the company’s technology and product roadmaps
- Define and implement scalable, efficient, and secure technology architecture and design principles
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive product innovations
- Oversee the full life cycle of our web and mobile technology products, from design and development to quality assurance and deployment
- Enhance efficiency by collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, create technical solutions, and deliver quality products
- Manage and optimize the company’s product infrastructure and operations
- Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance for our high-performing team of Engineers
- Foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the team, exploring new technologies and solutions to maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top tier university with good academic standing
- Strong technical background with expertise in software development and engineering
- Proven experience as a CTO or similar senior technical leadership position in a tech company
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in founding and/or leading a startup is a plus
- Proven business acumen in strategic planning, organizational development, and process optimization
- Knowledge of industry best practices in software development, digital products, and scalability
- Full professional proficiency in English
