About the role

Lead AI strategy and build AI systems across the ClinicOS platform to transform healthcare access through automation, ML, and AI assistants. Own the overall AI infrastructure, direct clinical AI adoption, drive growth through AI, and optimize data experimentation to make healthcare radically more accessible.

Responsibilities

  • Build a model-agnostic AI platform enabling seamless switching between models like OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source options, with performance & cost optimization.
  • Drive AI adoption in clinical operations, automating manual processes and building AI assistants to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage AI to enhance growth initiatives, including personalized outreach, AI sales agents, and integrating new tools like AI video generation and voice synthesis.
  • Analyze datasets, develop MVPs in days, run controlled experiments, and create feedback loops to identify successful AI initiatives and scale them.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience with a focus on AI and machine learning.
  • Strong experience building production applications powered by large language models (LLMs), including prompt engineering, RAG systems, and model fine-tuning.
  • Proficiency in Typescript and/or Python programming.
  • Experience designing and building modern, customer-facing API’s.
  • Comfortable building user interfaces with React or similar frameworks.
  • Experience leading engineering teams.
