About the role

Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer role within Odeko's Marketplace group, focused on building a scalable platform connecting small businesses to vendors and enabling dynamic pricing and payments across a microservice architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop highly scalable SaaS applications end to end.
  • Lead development efforts of high complexity and scope spanning a year or more.
  • Build microservice oriented infrastructure and APIs.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate internal and external applications.
  • Mentor others and influence technical direction.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software development experience building highly scalable SaaS applications end to end.
  • Expert knowledge of GraphQL and Kafka. AWS, React and Typescript is a plus.
  • Experience leading development efforts of high complexity and scope (spanning a year or more).
  • Experience working on financial/e-commerce applications and understanding their complexities.
  • Proven experience building microservice oriented infrastructure and APIs.
  • Ability to influence and mentor others, leading by influence and example.
