About the role

CTO for a SaaS cybersecurity company leading technology strategy, engineering and cross-functional collaboration with executive leadership. Remote, full-time, sponsor visa.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Way: As our CTO, you're not just an expert; you're the face of our innovation. Guide both tech-savvy and non-technical minds towards a common vision for a fast-growing start-up cyber security team.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the COO, CISO, and CEO, and cyber/enterprise risk on the delivery of highly reliable, secure, and effective cyber security solutions.
  • Manage cross functional teams, driving a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technological advancement within the confines of an integrated development model.
  • Provide leadership and expand, support, and mentor a best-in-class engineering & sales teams.
  • Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Implement best practices and guidelines to continually improve performance and scalability.
  • Works closely with the Director of HR making sure cyber best practices are never compromised.
  • Monitor KPIs to assess product and technological performance.
  • Use stakeholder feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to our products and technology platform.
  • Help to build out, mentor, and develop the engineering team and build a strong engineering culture.
  • Evaluate new systems and infrastructure and collaborate with the CISO, and COO on feasibility of alignment with information technology ecosystem.
  • Proactively stay informed about market trends, opportunities, risks, new projects, and competitors.
  • Evaluate the company's engineering and technology roadmaps and collaborate with the COO, and CEO, on the development of new strategies and tactics that drive alignment with business goals.
  • Translate the strategy into goals and an actionable roadmap.
  • Foster a culture of strategic ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Use insights from data to drive efficient feature delivery and operations excellence.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the cyber security industry is required.
