About the role

Medical Director role for a telemedicine platform focused on obesity, responsible for building and overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance, managing provider network, and improving care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain clinical operations systems and guides for synchronous and asynchronous telehealth products.
  • Work with operations and product teams to optimize flow and maximize care quality and delivery time.
  • Work with the legal team to ensure compliance in every state of operation.
  • Recruit, onboard and manage provider network of MDs, PAs and NPs.
  • Research third party vendors and spearhead partnerships.
  • Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in telehealth (digital health startup preferred).
  • Licensed, board-certified physician with clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting, hiring and training teams preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and systems design skills for organizing organizations and teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
