About the role

Design, build, and maintain backend systems supporting a high-volume, high-availability platform for a LegalTech startup, collaborating across teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize backend services and APIs supporting high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Contribute to scalable and resilient backend architecture design, making key decisions affecting platform stability and performance.
  • Build and maintain efficient data storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and security for large data volumes.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure aligned, high-quality product delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality through peer reviews, automation, and best practices.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and complex technical issues.

Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of large-scale, production-grade application development.
  • Deep knowledge of backend technologies, data storage solutions, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing and delivering solutions for complex issues.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams and communicating technical solutions to stakeholders.
  • Mentorship and team collaboration skills.
