About the role

Design and deliver core features for AirOps' AI-powered platform, focusing on full-stack development across backend and frontend, with ownership of integrations framework enhancement.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack features across the AirOps platform
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define technical solutions that meet user and business needs
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code in both frontend and backend systems
  • Review code, mentor teammates, and help uphold engineering best practices
  • Own and improve key parts of the application—from performance to architecture
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI, data, and web technologies
  • Contribute to a culture of experimentation, iteration, and shipping fast

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience building production-ready software across the stack
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails
  • Solid experience working with React
  • Experience with modern web development tools (e.g., TypeScript, Tailwind, Webpack, PostgreSQL, Redis)
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and system design principles
  • Experience building or maintaining third-party integrations is a plus
  • Product-minded: able to balance engineering quality with pragmatic trade-offs to move fast
  • Interest in or experience with Generative AI and related technologies
  • Demonstrated initiative and aptitude to make independent decisions and resolve complex challenges in a remote environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
