About the role

Full-stack product engineering role focused on Terminal Web, a TypeScript application for node operators to manage Lightning Network operations. Hybrid/remote, fully remote with preference for US time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Ship end-to-end features in Terminal Web
  • Build across the full stack (Next.js SSR, React, MobX, Emotion, IndexedDB, REST APIs)
  • Own integrations with Lightning infrastructure (LND, litd, Lightning Node Connect, Loop, Pool, Taproot Assets)
  • Write production-quality tests with Jest and Playwright
  • Work autonomously with minimal direction
  • Use AI development tools as leverage while maintaining engineering judgment

Qualifications

  • Strong TypeScript and React experience
  • Experience with server-side rendering, API clients, browser storage, state management
  • Experience shipping production-quality software with a portfolio or demonstrated projects
  • Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into working software independently
  • Strong engineering practices (testing, code review, documentation, debugging)
  • Interest in Bitcoin/Lightning and related mission
