About the role

A Senior Backend Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable backend services and infrastructure, supporting mobile clients and internal systems, with a focus on robust, high-quality code and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Write simple, high quality code that can easily be understood and leveraged by others.
  • Lead full life cycle design & implementation of product requirements, including task breakdown, delivery, testing, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to transform product and feature specifications into a working solution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in a backend language (preferably Golang).
  • Interest in Rust is a plus.
  • Programming, architecture, database design, and operations skills.
  • Experience scaling distributed systems and understanding of their constraints and trade-offs.
  • Familiarity with designing event-driven backend architectures (message queues, event streaming).
  • Knowledge of asynchronous processing, concurrency, parallelism.
  • Strong understanding of gRPC, HTTP, TCP, UDP.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Docker, GitHub Actions, AWS Fargate).
  • Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Advanced English skills.
