About the role

Senior Platform Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining core infrastructure, enhancing system scalability, and supporting development teams to improve productivity in a hybrid setup in Buenos Aires.

Responsibilities

  • Help define the team's vision and goals, actively planning the direction of the infrastructure team in collaboration with the CTO.
  • Contribute execution and review capacity by writing code, performing design doc and code reviews, and significantly contributing to the execution of our platform projects.
  • Develop internal products for all the teams to enable them to work autonomously.
  • Drive architectural evolution by identifying and solving critical challenges to improve system performance and scalability.
  • Support every team, helping to address their infrastructure needs and improve their productivity.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing and maintaining high-traffic, mission-critical production systems.
  • Deep proficiency in Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, with experience in penetration testing, credential management, and threat modeling.
  • Solid grasp of CI/CD principles and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Autonomous problem-solving skills with ownership for code in production.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles and scalable infrastructure design.
