About the role

Senior Backend Engineer responsible for designing and developing core backend services, APIs, and real-time communication capabilities for a LegalTech platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, and high-quality data management.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop backend capabilities for real-time, bidirectional communication using WebSockets.
  • Participate in system design and architecture decisions to ensure scalability and high availability.
  • Create efficient data storage and processing solutions, emphasizing data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and other teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve backend performance issues, ensuring reliable service and system efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years in backend development, with experience in building and maintaining production-grade backend systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex backend issues.
  • Familiarity with distributed system design and microservices architecture.
  • Effective cross-functional communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering user-centric backend solutions.
  • Advanced English skills.
