About the role
Design and develop scalable, resilient backend services to support Woki's growth with high availability.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve APIs and event-driven flows (Node.js).
- Scale data platform (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse/TimeScale) ensuring consistency and performance.
- Enhance observability and reliability (SLOs, alerting, distributed tracing).
- Propose architecture improvements to reduce latency, cost, and complexity.
Qualifications
- 4+ years developing software in production (experience in startups or SaaS is a plus).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Git.
- Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Clear communication, critical thinking, proactive in proposing improvements.
